White water is a fun, tough, exciting, challenging sport and outdoor recreation. In the USA white water rafting is enjoyed by the entire family, some families take their entire vacation just to visit the rapids together. In Florida there are many parks which have recreated the environment to simulate white water rafting, the most well know is Busch Gardens Tampa. In Orlando there is Wet and Wild one of the original water parks.

Many states with winding rivers and mountains also offer people the opportunity to white water raft, these states offer both guided and unguided tours. Some states which come to mind are Colorado, California, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee, Arizona, Nevada, New York, Vermont and Connecticut.
