Gambling today is most commonly known as betting on a game or event of some sort. In other words you are wagering money or something of value (like barter) on an event with the hope of winning additional money or what erver you bartered. Statistically people who gamble are on a regular basis are at risk for becoming addicted to gambling and can end up in trouble. It is not uncommon to hear stories fact or fiction about people who have had it all and lost it all while trying to win it all in gambling. There is however a small percentage of people who make a living at gambling. The Casino population is growing world wide at an alarming rate out side of the traditional areas like Las Vegas, Atlantic City and Monaco.
